Alt account set up strategy

Seems like a lot of us are creating alt accounts, can some please explain how to set up each that had the right focus, I imagine a death dealer account is different than one that is focused just on dumping resources, which should we be gearing towards and what does the optimal death dealer account look like vs resource focused account. Thoughts?
