BSK sub guilds

Post by 24mech on Thu Nov 07, 2013 2:58 pm

I have thrown this question in our chat in BSK but i wanted to make this as a discussion point so everyone gives an opinion and we can weigh this in together andpresent this to the leadership. How bout creating a subguild for the BSK applicants who for one reason or another cannot enter BSK. It can be a farming guild- just like major league teams having thos farming teams or a cadet school for the military. we groom them and we mentor them. They participate in boss strikes and as the primary BSK members we can have a steady supply of mature applicants to choose from. And if one of us fails in performing their duty in BSK main , if they are mature enough to admit their shortcomings then they go to BSK sub guild until they can prove their worth or if not they get booted out permanently. I know expansion is a scary thing but with the idea of morgan of creating a grand alliance with other guilds for boss strikes we might as well expand to have a ready reserve. please comment on this- i love to hear ideas, suggestions and naysaying

I think it's a good idea mech. You could also use the sub guild for anyone that might not be able to contribute to a boss strike on an occasion for whatever reason could sit there and let others take there place while BS is on that way all 100 are contributing and bring them back when BS is over. If they can't contribute because of work or sick or whatever they can still contribute for for part of it then swap in and out like we did the alt accounts.

Another thing that comes to mind that hasn't been raised at all is time zones. At the moment it is 8 am in Australia, 1pm west coast US, 4pm East coast US, 10pm Europe give or take. While say I am working in Australia someone on the east coast could be let in for boss strike and jump out when they hit bed time or work, same in west coast US is middle of the day may be working someone from Europe can jump in. Also it might help with the gatekeepers scenario. If you had a couple from each time zone it may make your life a lot easier. Just another thought I am throwing out there.

We can also invite all the alt accounts. I already created a guild, the name is BSK SUB. Most of us that join with our alt will be officer so it is easy for us to invite people. If you want to join with your alt use the code word: sub

All this sounds good but we need to be sure we coordinate among each other.

First, do we even have enough players who wish to join BSK to create a guild for them?

Second, Someone already started a guild for our alt accounts...forget the name (Golden Eagles?) and who started it. Also, I think it makes sense to have a separate guild for our farm accounts and another for potential full members. Probably makes sense to have another separate guild for our Death Dealer accounts to keep them together.
Thoughts?

ok to organize the great ideas- BSK sub is for the potential applicants and people who are not going to be abe to contribute for a period of time, golden eagles is our dealth dealer acct guild, and another guild for alt accts if they want. James might need leaders to step up soon if we're expanding
