Hey guys,

I have made an avatar frame for our guild. It's just a proposition, please let me know what you think.

Hey guys!

Thanks again for kind words.

I work with PS, and it's been few years since I used other programs. I was wrong about
Photoscape but GIMP will be perfect for putting image into the frame. Here's a little
tutorial how to do it.

1. I will skip the part where you have to download GIMP and save frame image on your hdd. Smile
I've made some modifications and I think this frame looks little better now.

2. When you have both, frame and avatar image on your hard disk just drag and drop both of them into main window. First avatar, then frame.

3. To make the work easier select Windows > Single window mode. It should look like this.

4. Now using "Fuzzy select tool" just select white area in the middle. Remember that the layer with frame have to be marked in the menu on the right.

5. Now "Add alpha channel".

6. Press DEL button. Then CTRL+SHIFT+A to unselect.

7. Now select an avatar layer and use "Move tool" to fit it.

8. You can also resize it if you want > SHIFT+T

9. Now select frame layer again and hit "Autocrop Image"

10. Now save it and then Export to png or jpg file.

Done!

I hope it helps. Good luck!

So how soon will this be required for members? I think that we need to push to make sure that its done before the next BS.

Big daddy, I think you'll need to do it on a desktop...if u don't have access to one, u may be able to email the image to another guild member and they can do it for you and send it back.
